Thunder within

A fresh start.

That’s all she needed. She had been making goals to achieve for so long but she felt like she was never succeeding. She felt stuck in a loop. To her it felt like it was never ending. Most of her days felt gloomy, like there was a rain cloud following her. Her head felt like there was thunder within. At any moment she felt like she would erupt. Like a thunderstorm. She knew deep down she was struggling but never spoke up, she never reached out. She was always there for others but no one was there for her. She felt like she was fighting battles on her own.

She had goals…. Some small… some big… but most of all they were hers. She had to go through a lot to get to where she is. What she wasn’t doing was looking at all the hurdles she had to go through. No achievement is too small. Even the small ones are important. She had to fight so hard to get to where she is now. And that is an achievement in itself. Achievements are achievements.

Half of the battle had already been fought and won. She was exactly where she needed to be. Yes she may have lost some people in the process but it only showed her who was really there for her. Her hopes and dreams were slowly coming true. And she radiated and glowed. Oh did it show. She was happy at last. She felt like her puzzle was almost complete. The main pieces were in place and that is all that mattered.

Now that she had a fresh start her fire burned within. She was so determined to get to where she wanted.
